Meetup w Geraldine

Last evening, had a meet up Geraldine with sis. She slimmed down. Miss her and she had graduated and back from New Zealand. She went to so many places as volunteer and seened the poor people's life. Hard yet v. contented. She seemed to had understand the secondary path of her life, as she had intention of going back to New Zealand for her 2nd level bible studies at February next year. happy for her as she found her goal. I think I never really have a goal. Just let it be until I have the urge to change my world.

As for me... I weighed myself and realised.. I almost 1 kg heavier. God damn. Must be having too good food last week. Sinful! Quite demoralise bcos I never maintain my weight. Like my exercise gone into drain. Must buck up!

Finished the japanese drama and quite nice overall. Japanese Idol drama. Thanks sis for the treat. Yeah... the peranakan food not bad.

It's Tuesday

Watched finished 原来爱上贼 the HK movie last weekend, the ending was not fantastic. Good guys still died in vain, sacrifice together with the baddie. Went to fetch bro's van last friday and finally managed to bring all the 7th month goodie bag and stuff back. This friday will be the last day of 7th month.

After watching the show, I started watching the 紫玫瑰 casted by Liang Wen Ying. Well, it still shown in taiwan episode 9, Her voice is very good but her acting so so. Also at the same time 福气又安康 episode 15. Kinda stupid show. Draggy as well, but maybe I too bored, so I still watched, somemore realtime as well. This 2 show actually aired at the same timing, from 2 tv stations. The taiwanese are v. fortunate to have so many tv stations, unlike here. All the old shows. Started watching a japanese drama 我的帅管家. Not bad. The guy is very handsome and capable, with the S rank. I think I indulged in these shows as my entertainment and it's nice.

Boring Life. I realise I am getting plumper again. My itchy mouth just can't resist on the tidbits. how come I am having so poor discipline. I dun wish to get fatter anymore, else I need to get new sets of clothes. GOd help me! Exercise exercise.

Weekend's Laze

As last week finally popped to Sat, I went to Suntec for Comex IT fair with babe in serch of Camera new technology, also bcos I had a sudden urge to get a new camera, which is slim enough to tug into my bag. My 6MPixel panasonic camera is quite bulky but was my birthday present from sis. I saw the sony touch sreen 10.2MPixel that cost $499, but the camera damn shiok, the freebies thrown in was so attractive as well. Gave 1 handphone, the camera bag, tripod stand, etc. But the crowd.. Ewwwkkkss! So crowded and I hardly able to walk. But they tie stringed their cameras and it's all entangled. A minus point. Also, they took the battery out bcos they worried the camera battery was stolen but some people. Another minus point. End of the day, you can try it even if less crowd. if u dun try, how u know it's a nice camera.

I met babe at 2pm and went for lunch at Raffles City foodcourt having Don set, so nice and filling, Cost $7.20. Babe took a teriyaki cheicken set cost $6.50. After a 2 hour walk from 6th to 4th floor, we went down to paya lebar to meet up with TT as we are going to Geylang Serai to visit their culture, bcos it should be pretty interesting to see their culture during fasting time and wad are their kueys and pastries for Hari Raya Puasa which is falling in this sunday. Who knows, they barged all the tables at the market food centre even they couldn't eat. Then we wanted to get some chendol makan, and we couldn't get a sit at all. They fast and hog on the chair, sleeping away or queueing up packing food waiting for 2 hours more for break fast.

So disappointed. Then I bought 1 packet of fish cracker, deemed to be v. nice. Ended up, I opened and it is not crispy, and not nice already. Wasted my $3. Shit! We walked to city plaza wanted to get our dinner, who knows the Arnold's Chicken was so packed with malays who just break fast at 7+, and no seat left till 9pm. So sad. So we decided to drop the idea at the area, went to Parkway Parade for dinner. Had finally settled with the stomach with baked rice and pizza from Pasta Mania and it's so sour for my baked rice. The rest of the place was so stuffed with human traffic, so it's hard to get place to sit. Who asked us to get there so late for our normal dinner. Sucks!

After dinner, we went to McCafe for some frappacino and latte drink. Chit chat till 11pm and we had to go home, else cross midnite, is just another disaster to get home as no more train, and the pocket will just burn 1 hole. Haha... Half past 12, I finally reached home, with my sore and blistered leg, tearing away bcos the shoe bited me! Wonder did I really enjoy my day at walking?! I doubt so! Also, find TT's char easily flare up, hard to please her and I dun want as well. bo chap....

This week's update

This week, I quite in a lost. I mean my mentality. As usual, went exercising twice in gym, burned 660 n 630 calories but maintained at 67.8kg. Hmm... so many dinner and lunch treats along last week and this week. Last Thursday evening had Mushroom Pot buffet, friday had buffet at Agnes's side 7th month Prayer. Monday met up w Babe and sis for dinner and Tuesday had buffet again for my side 7th month Prayer and Wed dinner w mum and went watching G-Force with sis and mum and bil. Tell me, how to lost weight like that? Hai.. so hard. I will try my best to exercise more then. Too much laughter around and ZY doing last round of 7th month as he will be leaving at 2nd Oct.

As for myself, I finished watching 金枝欲孽 and it was a sad story. Didn't realise it's a 5 year show already, well it had a very nice plot. The actors are very professional and their acting skills .. I shd say "two thumbs Up" ... nice nice....

Started watching another new show named 原来爱上贼 another HK drama show which was last year's production. Cast are Ma De Zhong, Chen Yu Lian and Liu Song Ren. Watched 5th episiode already and like the Liu Song Ren's wits that beats Ma De Zhong, yet they had so similar frequency, and had almost confronted yet escaped police. A show about police and thief and how police (Ma) trying to catch mastermind thief (Liu). A lot of twist and turn. Also a show where Chen Yu Lian after quitted 20 years, her debut show. Well, she has aged. Haha..20 years already, hard she don't age right! Nice show, I like the plot. Very chasy as well.

Sunday sunday in dramas

After the taiwan drama, I continued watching 金枝欲孽 and stopped at episode 27 of 30. It's a ancient cocubine show in the palace in china, where the gals wanted to be the emperor's bed person, or sex slave rather. Without love, 2 ladies portrayed the ladies being fetched in palace, then through making of their intelligence, vs skills they need to the cocubines and the queen, trying to ouwit them. Their acting skills real good. I really like it. It's a old show as well.

But I was aching bcos watched whole day. Today meeting babe and sis for dinner. Now still monday blues. So sleepy. Hai!

看完剪刀石头布了!

今天在家里不知觉的在网上看完了26集的"万石头剪刀布", 让我感动了一下. 自从看了"命中注明定我爱你"之后, 对陈桥恩的演技有深一层观感. 以往, 我总对她演的角色都觉得平平如常, 象是"王子变青蛙", 或许明道在这部戏偷了她的风头, 又或许她在这部戏有被埋没的戏剧发挥不料深更一层演艺. 但在"命中"后, 这奇女子的演绎从平凡到哭戏的爱情角色抓得赞. 后续又看了一半的"幸福又安康", 然后"万石头剪刀布", 佩服她的收放自如的戏马, 也不愧是偶像剧里的一姐.

Alright for some intro about that, "剪刀石头布" is a typical love story in 2006 about an accountant when 陈桥恩 roled as Ye Duo Li, after a ditched by boyfriend as the boyfriend went America and decided to break off with her, at her down times, she accidentally saw a painting named 初夜 -where a flamingo lady in oil paint was drawn with a very sad story by an artist Chen Ke Luo, where the art gallery was opened by his best friend Wei Qi Xiang.

Since then, she also learned how to dance flamingo where the painting she was mesmerized with, had a very sad story. Story goes the flamingo dancer was in love with a young artist, and they borned a child out of the wedlock. As she was pregnant, the young artist had a changed his heart and in love with another woman, who borned another kid, which was Wei and Chen respectively. Wei's mum who was a flammingo dancer, have to earn a living as a dancer then to feed their lives. Then as the mother knew that his father had passed away after a few years, the love in her mother's heart died, and she passed away after that. In orphanage, Wei was fetched back to Wei's house by the big mother who the father's real wife was to be. The kind mother gave him best education and became a GM in the big company. Wei in school time had became buddy with Chen. Both had inherited the father's painting passion. The buddy also both in love with Ye Duo Li and they couldn't ignore the fact, and tried to escape or give up the rights. Yet the buddy doesn't know they are real brothers from same father. Wad a ridicule.

Ye Duo Li and Wei Qi Xiang then realise they are in love with each other, despite the ex-boyfriend came back requesting a marriage with Ye, but she rejected. Yet fate played them around, Chen loved her as well. She and Wei could no longer ignore the fact that Chen's stress had intervened and she was too kind to ignore that. Hence, she had to live her life alone. Till then, at last Wei had went overseas to study for 2 years whilst she stayed. Work and dance as her passion was to be. Finally they were together and she is already a good flamingo dancer.

Hmm... think Joe Chen Qiao En played too many this kind of kind hearted normal gal whilst the guy is normally a very rich guy. Very typical cinderella story. She herself had said that she wanted to avoid this kind of show as well, bcos it really is fixing a typical type of acting skills where she couldn't break through. Whereas Fated to Love You, at the 2nd part, the very career type of character brings her out of the normal character. She should go into movie or other characters, else how can she had a break through. The OST not bad also.

I personally feel after watching 石头剪刀布, this show do touched my heart, but it dampened my spirits as well. Why can love be so heart breaking. Think the plot is good. Also, saw a character in the show, is actually a ex-TCS actress. Hmm.. not bad in acting as well, but I couldn't remember her name. She acted a bad role. Well, 偶像剧had some typical potrayal of characters. Like 3 angle love, etc. The ending a bit abrupt as well. I give 8/10 for this.

Eat & eat!

Last night went mushroom pot with my colleagues Agnes, GL, CS and SP at Somerset OG. Wah... really a lot of mushroom dishes. Eat till very full and GL had food poisoning. So pathetic. She had been in toilet for twice and vomited as well, then on mc today. Think she had something bad that afternoon, so, her stomach couln't take it anymore. I wore the new shoe from OG and my leg had blisters in between the toes. I was tearing away as well. Hai...

Today went in to Agnes's side for 7th month lunar praying and this year, they put up 1 table for makan and the rest was chairs for the workers to sit and eat. Quite a no. of colleagues went in, including CS and Marine. Quite enjoyable and chit chat, whilst having the buffet and fruits spread. Yummy! This year, ther invented a wire mesh to put around the buring area, so it effectively wards off alot of dusts from the burning remains and we have less trouble eating, while covering the plate against all the flying ashes. But seems the people is lesser this time round. I taken some fruits and 1 basket of the prayed stuff back. Now having problem to bring home. TBA.

Must go and exercise more bcos too full. Sobs.

Meetup w M friends

Hmm... finally after long wait and coco's organising, we finally had a meet up at Ion Orchard for dinner and desserts. Went to food opera and Tim Tim bought her meal at $13 worth of Balestial Bak Kut Teh's Trotter Leg and peanuts that is not nice at all. She must hv been disappointed and reckoned she donated to "charity" to the "Black Stall". Haha.. Sis bought us the "Yong Tau Hu" tastier and cheaper at $11.50 that can be shared among both of us. Whilst coco bought the laksa from the famous prawn stall worth $5.50 and the guy (dunno how to spell his name) sounds like Morphias got himself the fried kuay teow looks nice.

After dinner, we went to Epicentre to see apple items, then to starbucks. TT and CC was trading away their ppc and ap reset as TT nv play anymore, so sis and I decided to sell to CC our 60k ppc and ap reset which was bought 3 months ago. But we stopped m already. hence, don't waste. Haha.. CC said I had put on weight. Well.. I suppose so, bcos I knew myself. Nvm.. will try to slim down slowly.. No hurry.

It's funny , bcos we bought something ( a table lamp) which looks romantic... v. suitable for TT, and she also bought something (a pack of keropok) for us, yet we nv told each other earlier we buy something for each other. Seems like telepathic. Haha.. can see sis v. happy bcos earlier, actually there's some misunderstanding, and we nv cleared it, or bother about it after that issue passed by. Hence, all misunderstandings or disputes had been cleared at that instant. I made fun of sis that she bought for her and not for CC in train on the way back home, she seems happy, although she tried to hide her expressions. Haha.

The nite was a happy one, chatty and enjoyable. But I can feel the heatiness building up also bcos I had chocolate. Hope my illness cleared off soon as well. I hate to be a sick cat!

Sick sick~

Maybe my body never have a good rest for weeks already, as in nights, as I keep dreaming, or I am tossing here and there during my sleeps, tired me day and nights. I yearned so badly for good sleeps that can make me awake and alert during daytimes. Ended up, I always feels lethargic and hopeless that why I can't sleep properly at nights.

Finally, my body can't take it anymore. The heatiness build up in my body finally collapsed and I was having a throat infection at the upper throat. In the form of soreness, ear pain, headache and nose pain. I went to see a doctor yesterday. Mum went to see with me as well, bcos she seemed to have some high blood pressure. Doctor's antibiotics was damn expensive, and I had to fork out another $12 for that. Other than that, I was given a day mc, and I really need dat for a good sleep. After the medicine taking, I turned to my sleep at 1pm and woke up intermittently bcos mum was disturbing me, bcos she keep bugging me if I want dinner. Hai.. I already told her not to cook my share. I really loss in my words. The headache was plain killing. Today going to meet my m friends with sis. Must drink plenty of water to keep myself out of the disorderly me (the flu and heatiness).

After I cooked some mee at 6+ and ate, I went to watch the drama "转世惊情" a HK drama by 陈浩, 关德辉, 唐文龙 etc. Finally watched finished as well. The storyline kinda sucks. It's just plain 孽缘encompassed from Zhao Guo that serpasses to Ming Guo which was 1000 years later. Well, it's an ancient drama and there's plain selfishness and compassionate characters inside.

Storyline:
